Internationalization of SMEs: grants in 2013

Expires March 15, 2013 the tender for the award of grants allocated to consortia of SMEs (small and medium enterprises) for internationalization projects. The notice published by the Ministry of Economic Development promotes the internationalization of Italian SMEs through grants of up to 200,000 Euros.

The contributions referred to in this Decree shall be designed to support the performance of specific promotional activities of national importance, for the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises made by the Consortia for internationalization, including through network contracts with small and medium enterprises consortium.

Projects may be submitted by the consortium companies internationalization of SMEs and cooperatives sectors:

 industrial;

 crafts;

 tourism;

 services in general;

 food;

They can participate in the implementation of the project also trade enterprises, public institutions and private lenders transfer.

Are eligible for aid the following initiatives:

 participation in international fairs and exhibitions;

 events at international trade fairs;

 showroom temporary;

 incoming foreign operators;

 bilateral meetings between operators;

 workshops and seminars with foreign operators in Italy and abroad;

 communication actions on the foreign market;

 activities of specialized training for internationalization;

 creation and registration of the mark consortium.

The project must include spending more than € 50,000 and not more than € 400,000. The facility is granted in the form of capital contribution grant may not exceed 50% of the costs considered eligible.

These are the eligible expenses:

 units of participation in international fairs;

 rent and setting up of stands and showrooms temporary;

 interpreting, hostess service, rental equipment and instrumentation;

 transportation costs;

 implementation of the brand consortium;

 cost of information materials, television and radio commercials, advertising on websites and magazines;

 Website development consortium;

 general expenses to the extent of 10% of eligible costs.

Proposals for internationalization should be submitted by 15 March 2013.
