What are the characteristics that differentiate a TV from a monitor?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
The term usually indicates that device electronic monitor that allows the display of video images. The monitor is usually connected to a computer and acts as the output device, since it translates into images electrical signals, optical or electromagnetic, and may possibly be equipped with speakers for audio playback.
