Energy: kWh saved cost less than renewable energy

The European Union has joined the Kyoto Protocol, which set the goal of the so-called 20-20-20, which commits member countries to a coherent policy.

There are two ways to go: energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

Given that the cost of 1 kWh saved is much lower

the same kWh produced by renewable sources and to save 1 kWh / year in energy efficiency are needed 1.8 euro investment, whereas to produce 1kWh/anno with photovoltaic panels are needed 5.0 euro of investment, it is clear that saving energy passes mainly for energy efficiency.

Energy efficiency, in the opinion of Adiconsum, it should be placed at the center of the government and initiatives of operators and families.

Here are the proposals Adiconsum for a reshaping of the incentives of 55%:

1. stabilization of the duration of the incentives of 55% is useful for companies to decide and plan for investments in research for families to ponder and take the right decisions on how to intervene

2. improving incentives by 55% by introducing the "portability" of tax deductions by the direct beneficiaries to the ESCO (Energy Service Company), banks or operators who carry out investment, and the "bankability" of projects by the banking system

Also here are the Adiconsum proposals for renewable energy:

• funding research on new technologies

• to tie incentives to the actual cost of the investment income in order to avoid unjustified

• not to grant the incentive before it is complete the connection to the network no incentives for solar power plants in the open field, but only to those of integrated buildings.
